FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions participants, families and referrers ask us most often. If your question is not here, please ask — we are happy to talk it through.

Who can receive support from ClearMind Services?

We support NDIS participants where the requested service is within our scope and we can safely and appropriately meet the person’s needs.

Can my supports be personalised?

Yes. Supports are planned around your individual goals, preferences, routines, communication needs and circumstances.

Can my family or support coordinator be involved?

Yes, if you want them involved. We respect participant consent and choice regarding who takes part in discussions and planning.

Do you support people with psychosocial disability?

ClearMind Services has a mental-health-informed approach and may support people with psychosocial disability where the requested support is within our scope and suitable for the participant.

Can I choose my support preferences?

We encourage participants to discuss their preferences with us. We will work with you to achieve the best possible match while considering availability, safety and service requirements.

What happens before support starts?

We complete an intake process to understand your needs, goals, risks, preferences, consent requirements and the supports being requested. Where appropriate, a service agreement and relevant support documentation are then established. See the six steps to getting started.

Can I give feedback or make a complaint?

Yes. Feedback and complaints are welcomed and will not negatively affect your right to receive respectful support. Read more about feedback and complaints.

How do I make a referral?

You can contact ClearMind Services directly or complete the referral form on the website. A member of the team can then contact you to discuss the requested supports. Make a referral.

Still have a question?

There is no such thing as a silly question, and you do not need to know the right NDIS terminology to ask it. Tell us what you are trying to work out and we will explain it plainly.
